Current Activities

Within the Digital Incubator framework, the following technical services are currently being implemented

Technical service for the provision of Navigational Warnings

This service follows the specification being developed by the IHO S-124 project team.

The service uses the data-model from the S-124 product specification.

Technical service for the provision of AtoN information to end-users

This technical service follows the specification being made in the IALA ARM committee(TG 5.1.1) supported by the ENAV committee.

The service used the data-model from the S-125 product specification.

At a later stage, it is envisioned to develop a service for providing enhanced AtoN information using the data-model from the S-201 product specification.

Technical service for VTS traffic clearance

This technical service follows the specification being made in the IALA ARM committee(TG 2.5.1) supported by the ENAV committee.

This service facilitates just-in-time arrival to VTS area as a negotiation service between vessel and VTS.

It is envisioned to use the data-model from the S-212 product specification.

The service may be generalized beyond the scope of VTS.
